Professional, compassionate support grounded in real-world tools.
For many years, I worked in residential treatment, supporting individuals during some of the most challenging periods of their lives. While that work was meaningful, it often felt limiting. I wanted to help people earlier in their journeys and at different stages of life—not only when they were in crisis.
That desire led me to private practice and to a practical, holistic, all-in-one approach to care. Healing doesn’t stop when a session ends. Alongside counseling, clients have access to educational resources that reinforce growth between appointments, helping insights turn into lasting change. This integrated model provides clarity, continuity, and support every step of the way.

I was born and raised on a farm in the United Kingdom involving animal husbandry for the first 20 years of my life. Seeking something new I moved to the United States to attend college and play American football. I attended Ricks College in Rexburg idaho. and after serving a mission for my church I attended Southern Utah university In Cedar City utah, continuing my football career and majored in sociology. Post-graduation, I worked in mental health for 10 years prior to going back to school to get my masters in counseling.
Prior to earning my masters I worked in case management, residential treatment, Wilderness therapy, and Youth transport. In 2007 post my masters degree I was licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and opened a residential treatment center located in Herriman, Utah named Sundance Canyon Academy.
